An Atlanta couple wanted a home they could escape to in Cashiers, North Carolina. They knew exactly what was required. It was up to the architect and us to produce it.
They wanted a certain "Range Rover Rustique" feel. The dining room had to be large enough to seat many guests. The kitchen needed to be both functional and cozy. Finally, the den required a lofty ceiling and massive rough sawn Douglas fir beams to compliment the beautiful stone fireplace.
It is certainly a place everyone would love to return after a long mountain hike or curl up and read a book by the fireplace on a cold winter day.
